We will go Christmas Caroling again this year. We will meet at the studio at 5:30 and divide into two groups. We will meet back at the studio for hot chocolate and donuts at 6:45. Just wear regular clothes, and I will have a hat for everyone.

Summer Lessons

I am planning summer lessons on Wednesday, schedule at the right. I always like the students to continue taking lessons because they loose so much if they stop. I am more flexible in the summer, but arrangements need to be made before lesson day. I also prefer that you trade with another student if you can so that I can keep some consistancy in my schedule.

Summer Lessons will be held:
June 11, 18, 25
July 2, 9, 23, 30

If these dates will not work for you, give me a call and I will try to adjust for your schedules. I realize summers are very busy. Even a few lessons helps retain skills if you cannot make it to all of them.

Music is what feelings sound like.

Looking forward

I am looking forward to 2008-2009. In an effort to help you plan for next year the following is planned:

Lessons: Thursday, Blue Dance Studio on Main Street
Fortissimo - 3:15 - 4:00 Main Room
Pianissimo - 3:45 - 4:30 Beginning in second room for warm ups and theory
Crescendo - 4:15 - 5:00 Beginning in second room for warm ups and theory

We will overlap 15 minutes on each class, so please come in quietly and move to the far room. I have three helpers for next year including Candi, Nikki and our newest helper Lucia. The girls will remember her from the recital on May 4.

To encourage early sign ups, I will deduct $10 from the sign up fee. I charge a sign up fee to cover the costs of: word booklet, & a cd. I will also have 2 private voice lessons with each girl as allowed by my schedule. Early sign ups also allows me to plan for special musical numbers in the community if we need them. Deadline for early sign ups are June 25.

I would like to meet with each girl during the summer in a private lesson. I will begin arranging those as soon as I can. I plan on one being held Aug 14, and I will hand out their first CD then.
The second lesson will be held closer to Christmas to make sure solos are ready. Makeup lessons will be scheduled later.

I will also deduct $10 off the September tuition for referrals. Each class will be held to only 12 girls.

If you have any questions, contact me. My number is in the book.
